The manufacturer of GADERIA brand products is Lvivskyi Sad, which was founded in 2014 and has more than 70 hectares of gardens.
Our goal was to make an organic product in an ecological area.
Lvivskyi Sad’s plantations are located in an ecologically clean area near the village of Stilsko in Lviv region. On an area of more than 70 hectares, we grow apples using intensive technology. Some of them are exported, some are sold on the domestic market, and the rest are processed into direct-pressed juices, apple cider vinegar and apple nectar.
Our company grows 11 varieties of apples. The main part of the plantations is Gala, Fuji, Golden Delicious, and Red Jonaprince, as these varieties perform best in the conditions of Lviv region, where our company is located.
We are convinced that one of the main aspects of building a successful horticultural business is the selection of high-quality seedlings, and therefore, when we started the orchard, we bought some seedlings abroad, in the eminent nurseries Griba and Gruber Genetti.
Our apples are grown using intensive technology, in particular, the orchard was laid out using GPS technology, which gave us advantages in the future when installing protective nets.
We are convinced that love for the garden and automation of processes in it, minimization of labor, and modern technology are the pillars of a successful horticultural business.
We use mostly European-made machinery in our farm – tractors, mowers, etc. – which allow us to cultivate the garden with high quality. A high-quality irrigation system also plays an important role. An automated drip irrigation and fertigation system allows us to cultivate the plantations with high quality and apply the necessary fertilizers with irrigation.
Apples are harvested manually at Lvivskyi Sad. We have no problems with employees, because people need work. In addition, we try to lend a helping hand to internally displaced persons who have been sheltered by our unique Lviv region.
The primary sorting of apples takes place during harvest. In particular, apples of the third grade, which will be sent for processing, are harvested separately. The fruit is then sorted using modern Maf Roda equipment. The equipment can recognize apple defects, analyze the unevenness of the fruit on and under its skin. We are improving the line’s photo analyzer and the system that scans the fruit for several parameters. We store the sorted apples in RGS chambers. One chamber can hold 130-140 tons of apples. In the RGS chambers, we can store apples much longer than in the air. Apples remain firm longer and retain their quality color.
The apples of the 2022 season were shipped to the United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Azerbaijan, and Sweden. In addition to exports, our apples are available in the Ukrainian retail chains Novus, ATB, and Alliance Market.
Another vector of our company’s work is product processing. The company produces direct-pressed juices, apple cider vinegar and apple nectar. To produce juices, they purchased equipment from the Austrian company Voran. GADERIA є brand offers several varieties of juices: apple, apple-strawberry, apple-pear, apple-carrot, and apple-grape. Our juices are already available for guests of the Emily Resort hotel and recreation centers in Bukovel.
Another vector of our production is apple cider vinegar, which the company produces filtered and unfiltered. It is bottled in 0.25 and 0.5 liter glass containers.
